If so then blog commenting is still a thing.
Let me explain.
I drop detailed comments on blogs. Fellow bloggers deeply appreciate my thorough blog comments because:
social proof establishes credibility
bounce rate killing (a good thing!) anchors readers onsite
user generated content bolsters your blog through co-creation
The appreciative blogger visits my blog based on the helpful comment. He or she reads a post. He or she drops a detailed comment.
Our bond strengthens. Since the blogging buddy:
appreciates my helpfulness
values my practical blog posts
the individual buys my eBook and/or online course.
